What is the answer to the age old question? What is the meaning of life? Allow me to rephrase, what is the meaning of life, as you see it? Personally, I do not yet have even an opinion....except there is no real meaning of life.
I hope that this stimulates him to find his answer...
The answer may be just as distinct as a set of fingerprints. Even your opinion lends to the notion that all life has meaning. You used the word “real”. In a sense you acknowledge that there is a meaning, however you have yet to find it or have yet to discern MZ’s meaning of life. We only search for things that exist, it would be illogical to look for something that does not.
For me I would say there are a number of things that give meaning to my life. In a general sense or if I were to give a one word answer it would be “enrichment”.
Existence is life in its simplest meaning, to live is to give meaning to that existence, that is life. So when I use the word enrichment I look at it as a way of increasing the value of family, intellect, health, beauty, inner peace, & spirituality; all of which are meaningful in life.
I believe that we are all part of a collective being interconnected through the individual acts that give meaning to our lives, our closest family & friends and to strangers at the farthest reaches of the universe.
From the simplest smile we put on a child’s face to the next advancement in science or medicine that enriches life for even one more day…The meaning of life is the meaning you give it.
